Job purpose: An introductory position in which the individual will learn and demonstrate the basic skills of safety, material movement, machine tool op- erations, and housekeeping for sawing and milling warehouse
Job Requirements: - Dedication to working safely - Must be able to walk, climb, kneel, reach, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. - Must have good dexterity and hand-eye coordination - Ability to work in an environment where dust may be present - Must be able to use and read a tape measure - Basic math skills to calculate weight of jobs, stock removal, measuring, etc.
Preferred (BUT NOT REQUIRED) Experience: - Overhead Crane/Hi-Lo experience - Experience with Band Saws a plus - Experience with milling equipment; Ingersoll, G&L, DeVlieg a plus skills to be learned: - Over-head Crane/Hi-Lo operations. - Loading and unloading trucks. - Setup and operate saws. - Setup and operate mills - Processing paperwork as needed.
