Scotland Body Radiologist - 50,000 Sign On Bonus

Charlotte Radiology is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists to join our practice in the Eastern footprint of the Charlotte Metro area. The ideal candidate would have an interest in general body, emergency/urgent care and advanced thoracic and abdominopelvic imaging. In addition, basic procedural skills such as CT and US-guided percutaneous interventions is preferred, but not absolutely required. The position would best fit a self-motivated individual who is looking to build his or her local practice while enjoying the suburban and rural beauty of the Carolinas.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnostic imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis
• Reasonable travel expectations: candidates will cover sites in our Northern and Central, or Central and Southern divisions
• Applicants must have American Board of Radiology certification (or be board eligible) with subspecialty training in body imaging or cardiothoracic imaging

The practice is located at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC and currently has 3 radiologists. SMH is a financially strong, progressive 104 bed hospital with close to 90 physicians.

• Laurinburg is a smaller, family community with a low cost of living, active downtown, and plenty of space for outdoor activities and recreation. The town is home to St. Andrews University, an equestrian center, and Richmond Community College. Social events include Laurinburg After Five, the John Blue Cotton Festival, the Highland Games, and Springfest.
• Easily commutable, the Pinehurst and Southern Pines areas offer culture, nightlife, parks, shopping, dining, entertainment, sports, and annual events.
• Our location is a short drive to two large lakes and under 2 hours from the beautiful Carolina coasts and metro areas of Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Wilmington. We are a 3- hour drive to the breathtaking views of the Appalachian Mountains.

Position Requirements:

• ABR certified or eligible
• CAQ eligible/certified
• Body fellowship preferred
