The successful applicant must have a Masters of Science or Bachelors of Science degree in the field of hydrologic sciences, engineering, agricultural sciences, soil science, or a closely related physical science field with emphasis on surface or groundwater hydrology. Education and experience must demonstrate analytical and quantitative aptitude. Levels include: Hydrologist I - Bachelors of Science with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional-level experience; Hydrologist II - Masters of Science or Bachelors of Science with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional-level experience; Hydrologist III - Masters of Science with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional-level experience. Must have considerable knowledge in surface water hydrology, groundwater hydrology, and practical applications in data collection and management, along with an understanding of irrigation practices and on-farm agricultural practices. Ability to take mathematical principles and apply them to water resources problems is required. Must have a valid driver’s license. This position is not a (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by CSKT, must pass pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period. Salary Range: Hydrologist I - $29.16 to $33.52; Hydrologist II - $34.91 to $40.13; Hydrologist III - $38.31 to $44.03 (Including Benefits: Health and Life Insurance, Retirement, Long-term Disability, and PTO & Paid Holidays, and a collaborative team environment).
