Job Summary
Assists in coordinating Web analytics, mobile analytics, retail and dining analytics, and the social media strategy for the Office of Business Services.
- Works with the Account Manager to develop and curate social media content. Measures customer engagement within all social media platforms and provides detailed reports per promotion.
- Identifies opportunities to engage students on campus by working with students groups to initiate and schedule marketing activations.
- Coordinates tactical marketing initiatives per the annual marketing plan.
- Provides basic graphic design support to the Account Manager.
- Assists Account Manager with duties related to digital content refresh for the shopFIU website and its advertising network
- Assists the Director with reconciling expenses.
- Frequently canvases the campus to identify promotional opportunities and assure quality assurance of programs already in place.
- Assists with all major events.
- Works closely with the Account manager on the management the shopFIU Mobile App.
- Manages content remotely on monitors in high traffic areas on campus which includes uploading and removing content to represent shopFIU and other university departments. Manage the approval of all communications requested to be shared on the shopFIU network.
- Performs essential duties in any emergencies such as hurricanes, storms, and/or any other university emergency closing. The employee is expected to be available to report to work as needed during university emergency closing with appropriate notification of a department administrator.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media/Public Relations, Communications or related field and one (1) year of experience.
- Familiar with performance metrics related to e-mail marketing, website, google analytics and social media platforms such as Facebook, twitter and Instagram.
- Proven experience in increasing engagement through the management of content on various social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Adobe creative suite. Experience with photography and video editing a plus.
