Essential Duties & Job Functions:

- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and established best practices
- Assist with monthly financial reviews at a divisional level
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including account payable, corporate credit cards program, cash receipts, key vendor relations, purchase orders and account payable disbursements, 1099 and other compliance matters
- Prepare month end journal entries including accruals, recurring entries, reclassifications, etc.
- Prepare general ledger accounts reconciliations and analysis on a monthly basis
- Manage intercompany transactions for proper financial reporting
- Provide guidance on transactions, policy and procedures compliance, and internal controls alignment
- Work closely with external/internal auditors during year-end and interim audits
- Manage and develop a team of direct reports, providing leadership to develop the engagement, capabilities, and talent pipeline of the finance function
- Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies
- Lead continuous improvement of accounts payable processes, cash application, cash management, transactional compliance, and transactional reporting to identify and drive improved efficiency, effectiveness, and internal controls
- Identify and champion one significant innovated change to accounting processes/procedures each year
- Become an ERP and related systems thought leader, identify opportunities for process and technological system improvements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of GAAP.
- Experience developing and preparing complex account reconciliations.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level,
- Advanced skill level with MS Excel and excellent computer skills with emphasis on MS Office programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide cross section of individuals.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and identify the critical few to accomplish individual and organizational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Excellent judgment, integrity, work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Innovative aptitude and desire for continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in a financial position of similar scope, including general ledger accounting, financial analysis, internal controls, and auditing is required.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant is preferred.

A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee’s ability to perform to the job standard. - MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 20 pounds for 20 feet.
- HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
- VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
- LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist, 20 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 20 pounds for 20 feet.
- RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
