Experiential Marketing Coordinator

Lee Enterprises, Inc is seeking an individual with a passion for experiential marketing who will be responsible to oversee the development and execution of a portfolio of consumer, business, and internal events in Nebraska such as The Big Red Brunch, Best Of, and Inspire Award programs for the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World Herald.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Development of new experiential marketing concepts and manage the planning and execution of existing events.
  • Manage event production including P&L reporting, invoice processing, vendor setup, detailed budget tracking, production schedules, permits, venue and talent booking, ticketing, and sponsor activation planning.
  • Work closely with graphic designers on the production of creative elements required for consumer marketing and sales (B2B) campaigns.
  • Inspire sponsor sales through creative packaging of media assets and event activations.
This position is based in Lincoln. We are seeking someone with three or more years of experience in event planning and logistics management, proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, and demonstrated success developing and implementing experiential events which achieved the desired outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work in fast paced environment, able to creatively problem solve and juggle multiple projects, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be able to solve problems and remain calm under pressure.

Requirements include possessing a valid driver's license and proof of insurance, ability to drive back and forth between Lincoln and Omaha, and flexibility to work hours as needed for events that may occur outside of normal business hours.
