Urogynecologist
Mon Health System (MHS) is seeking an energetic, motivated and committed, Board-Certified/Board Eligible/ fellowship-trained Urogynecologist to join a busy, very well established Urogynecology practice in Morgantown, WV.
The practice focus is primarily Urogynecology, but also general gynecology. The current practice includes one board certified Urogynecologist and two fully trained, certified nurse practitioners. The practice is extremely busy with a large, well established referral base and busy operating room schedule. Nurse practitioners assist in the initial evaluation and follow-up of urogynecology referrals, pessary management, urodynamics, and general gynecologic complaints. They are fully trained in urodynamics, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and LARC. Procedure rooms with cystoscopy, multichannel urodynamics, colposcopy, LEEP and 3-D ultrasonography allow complete office evaluation of patients. The current staff is extremely loyal, with 10-15 years of experience caring for gynecology and urogynecology patients.
The current practice location is 2.5 miles/10 minutes from Mon Health Medical Center in a beautifully restored 115-year-old historic building which is within walking distance of the Monongalia River and rail-trail. There is an option of an on-campus practice location (at Mon Health Medical Center) if preferred.
Minimum Education Requirement: Graduate of an Accredited Medical School. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urogynecology.
Minimum Experience Requirement: Successful completion of urogynecology fellowship required.
Minimum License Requirement: Current, or eligibility to obtain, unrestricted West Virginia MD or DO Licensure. Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate. Board eligible required. Board Certified preferred. Fully credentialed through medical staff according to urogynecology services.
