Duolingo, Inc. has multiple openings for Senior Content Operations Manager in Pittsburgh, PA to perform following duties: Manage end-to-end localization/transcreation/content creation program(s), ensuring smooth & scalable work w/team of contractors/vendors; Develop plans & facilitate timelines: identify risks, solve for dependencies & ambiguities, mitigate roadblocks, & ensure timely & smooth project launches; Collaborate across internal teams to contribute to strategy to content tooling & ensure localization/transcreation/content creation best practices are upheld to minimize downstream issues & decrease cost & time-to-market for localized versions; Triage, vet, & route international bugs to stakeholders: review, prioritize, track progress & extrapolate product insights of issues that affect international content relevancy, quality, & functionality; Document content creation & localization workflows & identify gaps or inefficiencies in project mgmt & internal tools & processes within & between teams & suggest improvements; Improve & optimize existing processes, tooling & workflows to help scale courses & content; Work with Engineers, PMs & Designers to A/B test new processes & solutions to improve quality of Duolingo’s localized content; Build use cases, code, debug & automate stored procedures & scripts to identify & monitor content issues & bugs within our app; Help hire & onboard contractors to ensure consistently exceptional content.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Must have 1 year experience in database management systems. Must have knowledge of: (1) C++; (2) C#; (3) Javascript; (4) SQL; (5) Microsoft SQL Server; (6) Oracle Database.
