Position Summary
Responsible for completing all gas measurement related activities and work tasks.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have 5 years' experience with installation, operation, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of natural gas measurement equipment, including orifice meter tubes, remote terminal units (RTUs), solar panels, batteries, and radio telemetry communication equipment. Must have proficiency in sizing meter tubes in accordance with industry and regulatory codes and standards, installation and programming of RTUs (Kimray, TotalFlow, and FlowBoss), and installation and troubleshooting of radio telemetry equipment. Must have working knowledge of cathodic protection construction, installation, and maintenance operations. Must have basic knowledge of instrument controls and control valves. Must be capable of interpreting pipeline plat drawings and maps, as well as electrical schematics and valve set drawings. Must have good computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Windows based word processing and spreadsheet applications. Must have good mathematical skills and be detail oriented. Must be able to work under a rotating workweek schedule, including an on-call schedule and be available for overtime and weekend duty as needed. Must be willing to assist coworkers on call outs, outages, or as needed. Must live within a 50-mile radius of the Bondad office facility. Must have valid driver’s license for state of residency and be insurable under Red Cedar’s vehicle insurance policy. Must pass criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test.
