Communications Director Location - Negotiable Tribal Health Department

The successful applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Policy/Administration or Communications with 4 years of work experience in marketing, media, public relations or in a position relative to the demands of the position advertised; Master’s Degree in stated disciplines preferred. Must possess a valid Montana Driver’s license. All applicants must submit a Tribal application, a copy of academic transcript/degree, certifications, copy of valid driver’s license, if claiming Tribal preference, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veteran’s preference, a copy of the DD214 must be submitted. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION DURING THE SCREENING PROCESS. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy and subject to random drug testing. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period. Salary is $31.20 - $35.86 per hour, plus benefits, may be employed under contract.
